Information management in our ecosystem
The main flow of information occurs as follows, involving both the client's systems and Eden's systems:
The client's current system (ERP, HIS, EHR, LIS, etc.) sends the order and patient data to Eden's API through the endpoint for creating orders.
Eden records the order and responds to the client's system with the data used to create the order.
Eden sends a message to the gateway, which functions as a local RIS and is capable of providing the order information to the modalities via the worklist (DICOM MWL).
The modalities upload the study to the local PACS (gateway) and it will take care of synchronizing the study to Eden's cloud.
When the study arrives in the cloud and/or when the study is signed by the radiologist, a notification is sent to the client's system via the webhook that the client has listening.
The following diagram shows how the different services and systems interconnect.
In a more detailed view, it shows how information flows between the different services and the communication protocols that can be used. This diagram provides a deeper understanding of the specific interactions and underlying technologies that facilitate data transfer. It highlights the data routes, the connections between systems, and the communication methods employed at each stage of the process.
